I got the idea for it when I was at the beach the summer before last, and I'd written most of it in my head, but by the time I got home I'd forgotten whole portions of it.
I HATE when that happens. I get ideas sometimes when I'm in bed, before I go to sleep, and I can never remember them in the morning. I've taken to actually getting out of bed and writing them down by the light of my cell phone.
I still can't believe I actually put [Hotel] up.
But I'm so glad you did! I love that story.
...I love hearing people talk about their writing. And while you might not have written as many stories this year as you wanted to, the ones you DID write are awesome =D Good luck with your goals! I hope 2009 is kinder to you than 2008.
