This line, for some reason (possibly mostly the fact that it's pushing 3am on a school night), made me laugh for a good three minutes straight when I realized that that's all Gaius ever says. His advisory role to Uther (beyond the medicine stuff, which I'm sure he's quite good at, blah blah) could be replaced by a sock puppet and a voice recording of "I fear that this can only be the work of sorcery". (Now I have the hankering for a crackfic in Pudsey!verse where that happens.)
Anyway, late!comment is late, as though I tried to get into Merlin last year, I didn't manage to find time to watch it until I mainlined the entire first season when SyFy reran it a few weeks ago. But hilarious!fic is definitely hilarious--excellent work!
